Price awarded scholarship

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook High School senior Hillary Price was recently awarded a Senior Medallion and $250 scholarship by the North San Diego Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. To receive this award, a senior must have passed Level Seven of the Certificate of Merit annual testing program; three of those testing years must occur during the four years of high school. Price has been studying music with Carol Saltz.

In addition to her serious pursuit of music, Price has been active in high school sports, including field hockey, lacrosse and soccer. She has also been actively involved in philanthropic work as a Ticktocker with National Charity League, San Luis Rey Chapter.

Price plans to attend San Diego State University in the fall.
