Erosion Control Center now open Saturdays only

After nearly two months of daily operation, requests for service at the County Erosion Control Homeowners Assistance centers have declined. Therefore, the county has scaled back service hours.

The center at Fallbrook Ingold Baseball Fields, 2551 Olive Hill Road, will be open Saturdays only beginning December 29.

Requests for erosion control assessments will be handled through a 24-hour toll-free telephone hotline, (888) 846-0800. Assessments will be handled during normal business hours.

Centers will still provide sandbags, fiber rolls and seed mix between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
