CROP Walk returns March 9

On March 9, local residents will celebrate the 17th Annual CROP Hunger Walk. Last year, 445 people participated and almost $70,000 was raised.

The 5K walk, on a sunny day, will take less than 90 minutes.

Each participant who raises a minimum of $50 will receive a t-shirt. There will be music and food, a true celebration.

Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will go to the Fallbrook Food Pantry. The Pantry handed out 69,000 meals in 2007.

The other seventy-five percent of the funds raised go overseas to 80 countries, helping with emergencies, refugees, education and self sufficiency....
