Legacy appoints ambassadors, welcomes new board member

FALLBROOK — Legacy Endowment…The Community Foundation has selected community leaders in Escondido, Bonsall and Fallbrook to assist in sharing the story about Legacy’s services to help people (and nonprofits) achieve their philanthropic goals for today and tomorrow.

An orientation for the new ambassadors was held at the Legacy office by board members Wil Gower, Alex Irving and Jon Frandell.

In addition, Ivan Holler was recently welcomed as the newest director on the Legacy board. Holler grew up in Fallbrook and after college settled here with his wife and two sons. A licensed landscape architect, he is currently the planning director for the Rancho Santa Fe Association.

Legacy manages more than $10 million in trusts, endowments and donor-advised funds from individuals, families and organizations that support a variety of North County charities. Recently, it provided $100,000 to the wildfire victims of the greater Fallbrook area through donations from their community neighbors.

For information on how to set up a fund, call the Legacy office at (760) 728-3304.
