Irene Ballotta

Irene Ballotta passed away on May 5, 2008. She was born on August 8, 1923. Her husband, Philip Ballotta, preceded her in death in 2003.

Irene had a long and distinguished career as an elementary teacher, mainly in San Clemente. She was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed painting as well.

Philip and Irene moved to Fallbrook in 1980 and during their retirement years worked tirelessly as volunteers at San Luis Rey Mission.

Memorial services were held at Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary on Sunday, May 11, with a funeral Mass and interment at San Luis Rey Mission, Oceanside, on Monday, May 12.
