Pala Mesa wins Fallbrook Winery Cup

FALLBROOK — The team from Pala Mesa Resort won the 2008 Fallbrook Winery Cup by beating competitors from Fallbrook Golf Club and San Luis Rey Golf Resort.

Each team was made up of one golf professional and seven handicap players.

The final results were: Pala Mesa, 716 points; San Luis Rey, 631 points; Fallbrook, 625 points.

Notables were Bob Selsor with 88 individual points, Dick Rogers with 81 points and professional Travis Inchcliff with 71 points.
