FBK wins February cribbage match

VISTA — The Fallbrook Senior Center cribbage team won the monthly Senior Cribbage Challenge held on February 26 at the Vista Elks Lodge.

Ed Wozniak won the 46-player match by winning seven out of seven games with two skunks. Second, third and fourth places went to Barb Sacic, Sharon Fly and Mike Hayden, who each had six wins and a skunk. Obie Weeks was fifth with six wins but no skunk. Glenrose Sheffel and Jean Cunningham, the top Oceanside players, were sixth and seventh with five wins and a skunk.

The Fallbrook team won 92 games to the Oceanside team’s 69 wins. The $25 gift card donated by the Vons store on College Boulevard in Oceanside went to Carol Maston.
