Garden Tour coming May 30

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Garden Club’s fifth annual Garden Tour will be held May 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year’s tour consists of eight intriguing gardens that promise to surprise, inform and delight. There are excellent examples of contemporary drought-tolerant landscaping, Mediterranean gardens, tropical venues, fabulous sculptures and a whimsical train garden.

Tickets and maps will be available the day of the tour only, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Fallbrook Historical Society, 260 Rockycrest Road. Tickets are $20 each or two for $35.

In addition, a collection of garden-related gift items will be offered for sale as well as a wide variety of plants and raffle items.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club will be back by popular demand, showcasing their collectors’ cars at the Historical Society as well as many of the gardens.

Proceeds from the Garden Tour benefit the Fallbrook Garden Club Scholarship Fund and many other community projects.
