Fourth annual Cinco de Mayo race

MIRA MESA – North County Road Runners will present the Lake Miramar fourth annual Cinco de Mayo five-mile race on Wednesday, May 1, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

Fallbrook resident Joe Crosswhite said the course is one-loop around the lake on blacktop, with scenic view of the lake. “Fast course with a fast finish,” he said.

Awards will be presented to winners in various age groups. All proceeds benefit the Mission Vista High School cross country teams and San Diego City lakes.
