FALLBROOK – Debbie Shinner, executive director of REINS therapeutic horsemanship program in Fallbrook, was honored with the title of Grand Marshal of Rawhide Ranch at a recent summer camp ceremony at the facility. Approximately 75 summer camp participants and their family members were in attendance.
The honor was bestowed on Shinner as part of Rawhide Ranch’s 50th anniversary celebration this summer.
“Rawhide Ranch will recognize local heroes throughout our summer of celebration,” explained ranch co-director Val Ewan. “Each week at our closing summer camp show, we will recognize a ‘special someone.’”
Ewan said community members are welcome to nominate individuals for the honor. Ideal candidates are those who have demonstrated valor, integrity, and special service. Nominations can be emailed to [email protected]. Call (760) 758-0083 for more information.
