Senior Challenge cribbage match slated for Aug. 28

Skunks ruled the day at the July Senior Challenge Cribbage Match. The Oceanside Senior Center cribbage team easily won the match with 82 wins, 16 of them being skunks. Fallbrook had 72 wins and only 8 skunks in the 43-player tournament.

The top three players each had five wins with three of them being skunks. First went to Allan Clelland a visitor from England where he plays in the pubs. Second and third went to DeForest Mayo and Obie Weeks. Mitzi Potwora won six games without a skunk to take fourth place.
