Fallbrook 4H members win awards at Del Mar

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook 4H club has participated in many fairs already this year, and here is a list of the awards which the members of 4H won at the San Diego County Fair at Del Mar.

In the poultry show, Molly was awarded third place in showmanship; Leila was awarded third place senior showmanship and first, second and fifth in poultry competition; Erica was awarded first in intermediate poultry showmanship, second in the master showmanship round robin and first place in breed for chickens.

Samuel was awarded third place in showmanship; Christian was awarded third place in showmanship and best of breed, and finally Alana was awarded first place in senior showmanship and fourth place for master senior showmanship.

At the Del Mar fair for lamb and beef, Brandon was awarded ninth place for beef showmanship and first place for all animals in market. Taylor was awarded second place for showmanship and was the mid-weight champion and Alex was awarded first place.

For swine, Wyatt was awarded third in class; William was awarded two first places; Alex was awarded first place and Zaya was awarded 10th place in

showmanship and a first place.
