It still came as a surprise to learn that after 46-years San Diego Repertory Theatre is suspending all productions for the remainder of this year. The entire 2022 season has been canceled and all employees are to be dismissed on June 19. The notice arrived a few days ago and the concern may well be that live theatre is in trouble.
