NCFPD and CalFire responded to a car fire in the 800 block of Stewart Canyon this morning at about 9:30 am. It is unverified, but reported, that the fire spread to a home or structure. A Fallbrook Sheriff's deputy was involved in a two-car collision this morning. It was called in at 10:04 am at the corner of W. View St. and De Luz Rd. The other vehicle was a black sedan. A motorcyclist was transported with major injuries to Palomar hospital after being involved in a multiple-vehicle accident today, which was reported at 1:23 pm today, Wednesday, on S. Mission and Olive Hill Rd. A motorcyclist was reported as "down in lane." At 8:37 am this morning, Monday, North County Fire responded to the neighborhood around Elder Street between Shady Glen and Potter with the report of a gas leak. Apparently there was some construction and a line in the street was severed. The roads are closed, including Potter Street, Elder and Shady Glen. Residents in the surrounding neighborhood are being told to shelter in place....
