Delfin graduates from LVN program

VISTA — Last month, Fallbrook resident Lorena Delfin graduated from Maric College with her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) designation.

Delfin, a 2002 graduate of Fallbrook Union High School District, graduated from the LVN program with High Honors.

She is currently employed by Regency Fallbrook, an assisted living community. Delfin celebrated the occasion with her son Ethan, sister Linda, brother Kevin and mother Irma Peralta.

Becoming an LVN involves classroom learning, hands-on clinical lab experience, bedside nursing, data collection, infection control, medication administration and documentation, patient education and more aspects of direct patient care.
