St. John's Church plans blessing of animals

FALLBROOK – All pets are invited to a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 3, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 434 N. Iowa Street. All creatures great and small are welcome (if they can sit quietly through the sermon and not howl during the hymns). There will be dog treats and kitty snacks at the coffee hour afterwards, but owners are reminded that pets must be leashed or confined in carriers to get blessed on this special day that commemorates St. Francis of Assisi.
