Fallbrook Questers hold Calif. State Questers convention

FALLBROOK – Members of the Live Oak Chapter of Questers International hosted the Fall California State Quester Convention Oct. 28 to 30. The convention was held at Pala Mesa Resort, and was attended by 82 members and eight guests. Tours included the Ranch House and Chapel at Camp Pendleton, the home of two members to see their beautiful collections of antiques, and the Pittenger Historical House in Fallbrook.

Mini-lyceums were presented by three members of the Live Oak Chapter on American dolls of the 30’s through 50’s, the History of Matches and Match Holders, and Old Ivory Porcelain China. The Friday night banquet featured local Elvis impersonator, James Kruk, who delighted the audience with his performance.

Members arrived in Halloween costumes for the Saturday evening banquet and shared a fun-filled evening. Questers is an international study club dedicated to the appreciation of antiques and the preservation and restoration of historical landmarks.
