List of New Year resolutions for the new Congress

Don’t do pork or you’ll be a dork!

Don’t do midnight meetings or you will hear citizens’ greetings

Don’t raise taxes or you may be axed

Don’t spend more or you may wind up poor

Don’t pass more stupid regulations or you could be given a citation

Don’t fight the Tea Partiers or you may wind up a casualty without a party

Don’t do cap and trade or you won’t make the grade

Don’t take too many trips abroad or you might wind up a toad

Don’t resurrect the Dream Act

Ok, so this is only a partial list of don’t do’s. So get to work on the Do’s:

Lower the tax base

Listen to your constituency

Make the tax cuts permanent

Adjust Obamacare

Close the borders

Use the current path to immigration vice amnesty
