Vehicle vs. propane tank accident reported near North Stage Coach Lane

Saturday, June 26, a Ford Explorer struck a propane line from a propane tank on a private property on North Stage Coach Lane. The driver was not injured.

There was a leak detected and North County Fire responded and was able to shut down the leak quickly, according to NCFPD PIO John Choi.

The earlier report from the CHP log that the person who hit the propane tank was passed out in their car was untrue, according to PIO Choi.

A driver is reportedly passed out after hitting a 500-gallon propane tank and veering off the road on Bund Lane near North Stage Coach.
