Local photographic artists' work 'Exposed'

This photograph of a Taos Indian Pueblo was taken by Ken Seals in Taos, New Mexico. The residents live there without any modern conveniences, including running water and indoor cooking facilities.

What makes an art show worth visiting, in my opinion, is just the right amount of artistic exposure.

When works are underexposed, it’s hard for appreciation to be realized; when they are overexposed, the saturation point leads to the art being viewed as commonplace; whereas being simply exposed, creates the coveted attention-grabbing reaction.

It is therefore fitting that select, exceptional Fallbrook photographic artists will be featured in the upcoming “Exposed” art show from Nov. 3 through Dec. 1 at Pinnell Gallery, 124 N. Main Ave, in Fallbrook.
