FALLBROOK – The recycled water pipeline at Mission and Winter Haven roads broke this afternoon and emergency repairs are underway. Traffic is reduced to one lane in that area and Fallbrook Public Utility District crews are onsite and directing traffic. Repairs are estimated to be complete by 10:30 p.m. The recycled water leak was stopped within minutes and no one lost potable water service during this emergency repair. FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Public Utility District has announced that traffic will be reduced to one lane on Alta Vista Drive, between Winterwarm and Sunrise View roads, Monday, Oct. 10 through Friday, Oct. 28. Part of South Mission Road was completely closed to through traffic all day Thursday, Feb. 3, and a good part of Friday, Feb. 4. The closure was just north of Green Canyon on the southbound side and just north of Via Encinas on the northbound side. An area resident said, "We occasionally see traffic diverted into our residential area, but this incident ran all day and well into the night." The closure began in the early morning hours Thursday and was reportedly scheduled to end at 5 p.m. according to a ham radio report....
