School coming to an end

The school year is coming to an end. The past month has been very exciting for the Fallbrook Union High School and the ASB Department. The prom took place on May 10 at the Hard Rock Hotel. Many people showed up and they loved the environment and a night they will remember for a lifetime. The following weekend the annual Youth Fair took place. Many animals were shown; masterpieces were entered in the still arts show and more. During the Youth Fair, the unity softball game took place which had food and music.

The past week has been phenomenal as it played host to the staff appreciation week and the end of the year pep rally. The staff was honored with goodies, food, a free car wash, massage and more. Thank you to all staff; we appreciate you!

The last pep rally of the year was great as well. The rally included performances by band, drumline, BSU, Performance Dance, seniors and more. The rally was highlighted by videos and a performance to the song “Apologize.” This routine had members from the Performance Dance team paired with gentlemen from Fallbrook High School. The rally said adios to seniors as they partake in many new adventures.

The ASB awards assembly took place on Wednesday. This assembly recognized many people who have made a difference in this school. Congratulations.

There are many events that are approaching as well. Finals will be coming up during the week of June 2-5. The Baccalaureate will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, in the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center. The last week of school will begin with the Class of 2008 breakfast from 7:45 to 9 a.m. on June 2 in The Barn. Then the scholastic awards assembly will be held June 3 at 7 p.m. in the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center. The last day of school will take place on June 5. Finally, graduation will take place on June 5 at 6 p.m.
