Book Talk, the community book club sponsored by Friends of the Fallbrook Library, will meet Thursday, October 9, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Public Utility District board room, 990 East Mission Road.

The featured selection is “To Say Nothing of the Dog” by Connie Willis, a science-fiction fantasy in the guise of an old-fashioned Victorian novel, complete with epigraphs, brief outlines and a rather ugly boxer in three-quarters profile at the start of each chapter.
