Find the perfect gift at Fallbrook Sports

Being the only official sports store in town, Fallbrook Sports is the ultimate destination for year-round shopping, but especially during the Christmas season. Owner Donica Kelsay has an impressive inventory to choose from for those special people on your shopping list.

At Fallbrook Sports, rows of shiny bikes are just waiting to be placed underneath the Christmas tree this year. Its stock includes mountain bikes, beach cruisers, road bikes, MTB, BMX, Electra, unicycles, kids’ bikes and much more.

“I know things are tough for everybody right now, and this year, I decided to put all my bikes that are in stock on sale,” said Kelsay. “And we can hold the bikes up until Christmas Eve.”

Known for quality, the bikes sold at Fallbrook Sports are well-made, and in the long run, save money on repairs.

Kelsay is also offering layaway this year, which is helping out many during these tough economic times.

More sport items that can be checked off that “Christmas List” at Fallbrook Sports are skateboards, long boards, Razor Scooters, paintball accessories and head-to-toe equipment for baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse and field hockey. All safety gear is available as well.

“We pretty much have a little bit of everything, and what I don’t have, I can order,” said Kelsay, who also added that the turnaround time for orders is quick.

Is someone you are shopping for part of the Air Soft craze and in need of equipment and accessories? Look no further than Fallbrook Sports, which supplies great products.

The other departments at Fallbrook Sports include yard and water sports. If playing a game of horseshoes, croquet or badminton is on the agenda, Fallbrook Sports delivers.

And of course, Fallbrook Sports offers gift certificates, including its popular on-site batting cage packages.

Fallbrook Sports remains the premier bike repair center in town. “We do everything from fixing flats to deluxe overhauls,” said Kelsay.

This department has also branched out into fixing anything that has handbrakes: “We’ve also been fixing handbrakes on golf carts, walkers and baby strollers.”

Since Kelsay purchased Fallbrook Sports in May 2007, she says the experience has been fantastic. “I love my customers; my customers are wonderful and they make it worthwhile for me,” she said.

And having the local kids hanging out at the shop is still something that Kelsay thoroughly enjoys.

Achieving the best customer service has been the core of Kelsay’s business.

“This is Fallbrook’s sports shop and I want it to be a place where people come in and get treated with respect,” she stated. “I want all those sporting needs to be met with a smile.”

Another smile being seen at this family-owned business is that of Kelsay’s mother, Suzan Laymon.

“My mom has been a large contributor to this business,” explained Kelsay.

Delighted with her business and calling it “a work in progress,” Kelsay cannot thank the community enough for its continued support. She is thrilled to begin offering sports team uniform services soon.

“Every day is exciting,” Kelsay said, “and because of this community, we are growing daily.”
