MiraCosta to hold Music Industry Fair

OCEANSIDE — MiraCosta College’s Career Center announces its first-ever Music Industry Occupations Fair for music students and interested community members.

This special event will bring together music industry professionals from diverse companies.

The free event will be held Friday, February 27, and will include two roundtables, the first from 10 a.m. to noon and the second fro 1 to 3 p.m.

Both roundtables will take place in Studio A in the Creative Arts Building (Bldg. 2200) at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside.

“This is an opportunity for the public and for students to hear about the music industry firsthand from professionals representing all aspects of entertainment,” says MiraCosta music instructor Christy Coobatis. “It is also an opportunity for the MiraCosta music faculty to learn about what is happening in the industry so that they can better prepare students for great careers.”

The event is free to attend and is open to the public.
