Bonsall Woman's Club hosts "Painting with a Purpose" fundraiser

FALLBROOK – A "Painting with a Purpose" fundraiser was held at a Bonsall Woman's Club member's home, Oct. 14. All painting supplies were provided by the club.

The BWC's Thursday, Nov. 4 meeting will be held at the Bonsall Community Center, 31505 Old River Road, in Bonsall. The doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for a social hour with the business-portion starting at 10 a.m. Program chairs Laurie Criscenti and Cheri Marie Poulos chose an acoustic duo from Carlsbad, "The Journeybirds" to provide the entertainment. This November meeting has become a customary way to kick off the upcoming holiday season.

Snacks will be available. Reservations and snack orders must be made no later than Oct. 28 by emailing [email protected]

A Christmas fundraiser will be held Thursday, Dec. 2 and Friday, Dec. 3 at 100 Main Street in Fallbrook. Items available include 3-4 foot fully decorated trees, for which the club has become well known. There will also be wreaths and themed baskets to be raffled or sold. There will be many other items for your holiday gifts.

All proceeds from these fundraisers will be designated to local 501©3 entities as well as high school scholarships.
