    Adam Herter, a 2006 graduate of Fallbrook High School, just completed a 7-3 record as a sophomore with Point Loma Nazarene University’s (PLNU) Sea Lions team. Out of eight pitchers on the Sea Lions, Herter’s hard work earned him a starting spot for the 2008 season. Going into league playoffs, Herter posted a 3.56 earned run average (ERA) in 75 innings pitched, struck out 60 batters, while only giving up seven walks.     Athletes in the California Interscholastic Federation’s San Diego Section who are under suspension after being ejected from a game are now allowed to practice during their suspensions and will be allowed to attend the competitions if they are not in uniform. The CIF San Diego Section’s Board of Managers unanimously approved the change June 3, fulfilling a request by the Grossmont Conference that athletes coming off suspensions be prepared for their next game or meet.     Fallbrook High School seniors Bret Hasvold and Ray Lian ended their high school track and field careers at the state meet and with personal records. Hasvold had a time of 1:55.20 in the 800-meter run May 30 at Cerritos College while Lian threw the discus 170 feet 10 inches. “They performed well.     A rottweiler attacked an elderly woman while she was walking her dogs in her suburban neighborhood near Dulin Street in Fallbrook the morning of June 6.
