Christen Cavanaugh suffered traumatic injuries Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 8:38 pm when she was struck by a vehicle in the 1200 block of Fallbrook Street near the Community Center. Fallbrook Street was closed from both directions while emergency services and first responders provided advanced life support. A traffic collision on Ammunition Road and South Mission Road tonight at about 9 pm resulted in one person being transported to the hospital, and one driver was being tested for a DUI according to witnesses at the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 8:56 PM when a vehicle collided with another car carrying a man and his daughter. A call came in at 8:32 am this morning of an armed suspicious person inside the Hearth coffee shop in the 100 block of Main Ave. Fallbrook Sheriffs arrived and questioned the man, who appeared to be older, maybe in his 70s. He was arrested and taken from the premises. It was also reported, although not verified with the Sheriff, that they had to use their Taser. A crash resulted in one person being transported to a local hospital and another was arrested on Wednesday. The crash was reported at 3:06 pm in Fallbrook at E. Mission and 1324 Macadamia Dr.According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Communications Center, Lt. Davis said that the call came in initially as just an incomplete call and afterward there was one arrest for a warrant. More will be reported on as information is available. What appears to have been a three vehicle collision, happened tonight, at 1837 E. Mission Rd. In Fallbrook. The accident was reported at 6:06 pm. The Westbound lane was closed for a period of time. A blue Chevy Silverado, hauling a trailer carrying furniture crashed. Also involved was a black Ford Explorer and a white GMC Sierra. Injuries are unknown at this time. A man on a motorcycle was reported to have e been hit by a driver in a black Nissan truck near Pico and East Mission tonight, March 18, at 5 :30 pm. A person following the Nissan Truck was able to follow them and record the license plate and give it to the rider, according to a witness on the scene. NCFPD was on the scene but CHP hadn't arrived. At about 9:30 am, this morning, Sunday, March 10, a woman, reported to be a senior, drove her car into the building of Yumi Sushi at 855 S. Main. This is the second incident in a month where a car drove into a building. Last month a person drove into the fitness studio next door to Yumi Sushi and reportedly fled on foot. Daniel Beatty, 56, from Fallbrook, was arrested today on charges relating to vandalism and narcotics. Sheriff's deputies responded to a Vandalism call in the 1400 block of S. Mission Rd at 8:40 am. Upon arrival, sheriffs observed broken night lights, multiple plants pulled out of the landscaping and thrown around, and a water spigot that had been broken off. This morning at 10:31 am, May 1, there was a medical emergency call on S. Main Ave and Ash St. There was a man who appeared to be unconscious and possibly homeless, according to witnesses on the scene. There was also a small dog which appeared to have a rope too tightly around it's neck. When the Sherriff's Department and NCFire responded, the man appeared to be in pain, yelling, saying he was tired of being beaten up and robbed. It was a 5150 call, which is a mental health... A commercial fire was reported to NCFPD in the 100 block of Ash Street in Fallbrook. Fire crews were able to keep the fire contained to the storage container.
